Responsibility and Area of Specialty:

Roger is the Field Research Director at the NC State IR-4 Field Research Center. This Center conducts field residue trials to support pesticide registrations for fruits, vegetables and other minor/specialty crops. All residue trials at the NCSU IR-4 Center are conducted under federally-mandated 'Good Laboratory Practices'.

Areas of Interest:

  • Magnitude-of-Residue trials in specialty crops
  • Crop safety/weed control trials in specialty crops
  • Developing weed management systems for clary sage, a biennial herb grown in several counties in the northeast North Carolina
